This Mexican documentary examines the effort to establish gender-neutral bathrooms at a university faculty of philosophy and letters. The film frames the quest for inclusive facilities as a broader struggle for existence and visibility within a society with high rates of hate crimes against the LGBTQ+ community.
The film was written and directed by Xánath Rojas, following their 2023 work Empty Shelves. It was produced by José A. Zamora through the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Escuela Nacional De Artes Cinematográficas. The short runtime of 16 minutes features Sesek Durán, Gabrielle Ramos García, and Sair Suárez appearing as themselves.
