A Thousand Cuts

A Thousand Cuts follows the hosts of a true crime television special who investigate a brutal murder that has remained unsolved for thirty years. As the broadcast airs live, the presenters become perilously involved in the mystery. Their own personal connection begins to deteriorate, strangely mirroring the violence of the original crimes.

The film was written and directed by Jake Horowitz, who also served as a producer alongside Jason Speir and Qihui Lim. The production was handled by HYST Films with a budget of 1 million USD. The ensemble cast features Jonas Chernick as Frasier, Storm Steenson as Roberta, Julian Richings as Webster, Tommie-Amber Pirie as Ash, Varun Saranga as Lex, and David Hewlett as Cornelius. This 90-minute production blends elements of comedy, drama, and mystery.
