Vice Is Broke

This documentary examines the decline of a digital news organization that experienced a dramatic financial reversal. After reaching a valuation of 5.7 billion dollars in 2017, the company eventually filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2023. Former employee Eddie Huang investigates the archives of the publication to determine the causes behind the fall of this pop culture entity.

Directed by Eddie Huang, this is the second film in his directing career following Boogie. Produced by QC Entertainment, the project also lists Raymond Mansfield and Sean McKittrick as producers. The film features Huang appearing as himself alongside a cast of 24 credited individuals, including Dave 1, Amy Kellner, Jesse Pearson, Lesley Arfin, and Gavin McInnes. The United States production has a runtime of 102 minutes.
