Following the death of his son Adrian, autobiographical filmmaker Ross McElwee reviews his personal archives of home movies. He examines how the act of filming influenced their bond while his son was alive and how those recordings shape their connection now. Parallel to this reflection, the filmmaker navigates the difficult process of adapting his first feature, Sherman's March, into a fictional story. These two paths allow him to consider the nature of cinema and mortality.

This documentary was directed by Ross McElwee, who also served as a producer and appeared as himself. The cast includes Adrian McElwee and Charleen Swansea. Produced by Impact Partners and Giant Squid Films in the United States, the film has a runtime of 116 minutes. It was released on June 18, 2026.
