Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!

Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang set out on a cruise through the Atlantic, only to find themselves in the legendary Bermuda Triangle. Strange things begin happening almost at once, with alien apparitions and ghostly pirates among the threats they encounter. The phantom pirates are the most dangerous of all, attacking passing ships with cannon fire, and the situation turns personal when they abduct Fred's parents and press his mother into their crew. Unless the gang can work out what is really going on, they risk being thrown overboard and becoming the next casualties of the Triangle.

This 2006 animated adventure was directed by Chuck Sheetz, his second feature after Recess: School's Out in 2001, and he also produced it alongside Margaret M. Dean. Dean wrote the screenplay with Jed Elinoff and Scott Alan Thomas. Frank Welker voices both Scooby-Doo and Fred, with Casey Kasem as Shaggy, Mindy Cohn as Velma and Grey DeLisle as Daphne; Ron Perlman and Freddy Rodríguez also lend their voices. The film runs seventy-one minutes.

Audience response has been favorable. On IMDb it holds 6.6 out of 10 from roughly 4,700 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 7.5 out of 10 from a much smaller base of 311 votes.
