Nathan Flomm was a marketing executive at an electric car startup until a quarrel with his boss, Will Haney, led him to walk away and sell his ten percent stake. The company then became a huge success, and Nathan was publicly humiliated for giving up shares that would have been worth a fortune. He changed his name to Rolly DaVore and settled on a small island off the coast of Massachusetts, where he built a quieter life away from the business world.

Ten years later, Will arrives on the island to renovate a vacation home, and Nathan sets out to drive him away and settle the old score. Larry David plays both the former executive and his new identity, with Jon Hamm as Will, Kate Hudson as Rhonda, Eva Mendes as Jennifer, Danny McBride as Frank and Michael Keaton as Joe Stumpo. Greg Mottola directed the film, which came after Paul and before Keeping Up with the Joneses in his filmography. Jeff Schaffer, Alec Berg and David Mandel wrote the screenplay. It is a comedy released in 2013 with a runtime of one hundred minutes.

On IMDb, the film holds a critics' rating of 6.5 out of 10 from 28 reviews, slightly above the audience score on TMDB, which stands at 6.1 out of 10 from 371 votes.
