Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore

This documentary examines the life of Marlee Matlin, who became the first Deaf person to win an Academy Award in 1987. At age 21, she entered the global spotlight, and the film follows her as she reflects on her experiences and the challenges of being a pioneer in her field. Using American Sign Language as her primary means of expression, Matlin explores her personal journey through her own perspective and the accounts of her friends.
