Captain Sabertooth and the Countess of Grel

Captain Sabertooth and the Countess of Grel is a Norwegian animated family adventure. The story follows Captain Sabertooth, the ruler of the seven seas, and his crew, including the close friends Raven and Pinky. The plot centers on the cunning Countess Sibylla, who kidnaps Pinky as part of a broader scheme to trap the captain and seize control of the pirates' homeland. To stop her and rescue their friend, Raven, the captain, a dragon, and a cook must work together through a dangerous journey.

The film was produced by Qvisten Animation and co-directed by Rasmus A. Sivertsen, Yaprak Morali, and Are Austnes. For Sivertsen, this is the fifth of seven listed films in his career, following Spermageddon. Morali and Austnes previously collaborated on Astrid Lindgren's Christmas and later worked on Simon Small. The voice cast features Kyrre Haugen Sydness, Håvard Bakke, Lisa Stokke, Fridtjof Stensæth Josefsen, David Leander Helgor, and Nils Jørgen Kaalstad.

Financially, the movie did not recover its costs, earning 2 million USD against a budget of 4 million USD. Audience reception is mixed, with a rating of 5.7/10 on IMDb from 178 votes and a slightly higher score of 6.3/10 on TMDB based on 10 votes.
