Pass and Goal

Pass and Goal is a drama about Hay Man, a former financial advisor who loses her wealth and moves into her cousin Ying's modest residence. In an attempt to recover her status, she takes over the coaching of a youth football team made up of local children and her cousin's group. The team competes in a league created by a wealthy heir. While she initially views the role as a burden, the experience evolves into a mentorship that helps the children overcome their problems and gives Hay Man a new sense of purpose. As the underdog team reaches the championship, she is forced to decide between her former life of luxury and her current identity.

The film was directed by Jil Wong Pak-Kei and written by Ambrose Kwok Yat-Choi. Produced by Kinnie Cheung and funded by Entertaining Power and the Film Development Fund of HK, the production is a Hong Kong film with a runtime of 104 minutes. The lead role of Hay Man Fong is played by Gigi Leung Wing-Kei, appearing alongside Peter Chan Charm-man as Wu Siu Ho and Ling Man-Lung as Alex Lip. Other cast members include Rachel Leung, Chu Pak-Hong, and Henry Chan, with a total of 217 credited performers.
