Eastern Western

Set at the turn of the 20th century on the American frontier, this drama follows Igor, a widower and immigrant from Eastern Europe. Struggling to raise his young son alone, Igor joins a wagon train heading toward California. He travels with Duncan, an American mentor and friend who is relocating his family and horse-breeding business. The story explores the bond formed between the child and two different father figures from contrasting cultural backgrounds.

The film was directed and written by Biliana Grozdanova and Marina Grozdanova, who also served as producers alongside Steven Demmler. This production was a collaboration between Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the United States through El Jinete Films. The cast features Duncan Vezain in the role of Duncan, Igor Galijasevic as Igor, and Walter Runningcrane Jr. as Walter, with supporting performances by Shawn Perkins and Zdravko Strkalj. The movie has a total runtime of 108 minutes.
