What's left behind the scenes
- Due to his religious beliefs, Neil McDonough consistently refuses to play romantic roles or kiss anyone other than his own wife, Roux Robertsson. In this film, she appears in flashbacks, playing the wife of McDonough's character. This marks the first time in his entire cinematic career that McDonough kisses someone on screen.
- When Sally, played by Sarah Jones, texts Joe, played by Neil McDonough, the letters on her phone appear against a green background, as is typical for SMS messages. When Joe receives the text, the background turns blue, which is characteristic of Apple's iMessage. The background should have been blue on both phones, as both Sally and Joe are using Apple messengers.
