The Last Prayer

The Last Prayer is a Brazilian drama and thriller centered on the relationship between two brothers, Caio and Alberto. Caio is a devout young man who feels constrained by his religious convictions, contrasting with Alberto, who lives freely and defies social expectations. Driven by desperation, Caio kills his brother and makes the death appear to be a suicide, justifying the crime to himself as a divine act.

The film was co-directed by Saulo Carvalho and Dan Claudino. It is the second film directed by Carvalho, following Echo, and the first for Claudino, who later directed Eu, a Kombi e a Garotinha que Encontrei no Meio do Caminho. Produced by Davi Claudino through Pane Filmes and SPEC Filmes, the movie features Dan Claudino as Caio and Davi Claudino as Alberto. The supporting cast includes Raquel Paim, Roberto Lopes, Thalia Nunes, and Felipe Batista.
