All About the Benjamins

All About the Benjamins follows Bucum Jackson, a Miami bounty hunter who dreams of opening his own investigation business while working for a bail bonds company. His latest target is Reggie Wright, a small-time con artist who skipped out on his court obligations. Reggie, meanwhile, has stumbled into far bigger trouble after interrupting a diamond heist, which leaves him suspected of serious crimes and separated from a wallet holding a winning lottery ticket. The chase between the two men soon turns into an uneasy partnership as they try to recover both the diamonds and the ticket while dangerous criminals close in.

Kevin Bray directed the film, his first feature, and went on to direct Walking Tall two years later. Ice Cube stars and co-wrote the screenplay with Ronald Lang, and also produced alongside Matt Moore and Matt Alvarez. Mike Epps plays Reggie, with Eva Mendes, Tommy Flanagan, Carmen Chaplin and Valarie Rae Miller in supporting roles. Around thirty cast members and a crew of roughly 147 people are credited.

Made for 14 million dollars, the film took in about 25 million worldwide, a modest profit against its production cost. On IMDb it holds 5.8 out of 10 from 17,000 votes, while on TMDB it has 5.9 from 194 votes. A critics' rating of 4.6 from 74 reviews sits below both audience scores.
