In the early 1990s, several teenagers in upstate New York were encouraged by an unorthodox teacher to create a student movie. During this process, the group stumbled upon a wide-reaching conspiracy that was harming their local environment and community. Three decades after these events, the individuals return to the footage they shot to examine the lasting impact of that period in their lives.
This documentary was co-directed by Amanda McBaine and Jesse Moss, who also wrote the screenplay and served as producers alongside Teddy Leifer. The film features Fred Isseks, Jeffrey Dutemple, Rachel Raimist, and David Birmingham appearing as themselves. For McBaine, this project follows her previous work on Boys State, The Mission, and Girls State. Moss previously directed those three films as well as War Game. The production was a joint effort between the United Kingdom and the United States, involving Participant, Matador Content, Rise Films, and Closer Media. Released on November 26, 2025, the film has a runtime of 110 minutes.
