Set in the Niguarda public hospital in Milan, this documentary follows Dr. Maurizio Bini as he manages a specialized medical department. He provides professional and emotional support to individuals seeking assisted reproduction through in vitro fertilization, as well as those working to align their physical bodies with their gender identities. Bini operates his practice according to humanist principles while facing obstacles from a conservative government and a commercial market that seeks to commodify human biology.
