Short description

This documentary examines the history and authorship of a famous war photograph from the 20th century. Through a two-year investigation, the film explores a scandal involving a photo editor and secrets kept for over fifty years. The narrative focuses on the pursuit of justice for a freelance photographer known as the stringer.

The film was directed by Bao Nguyen as his second project, following The Greatest Night in Pop and preceding BTS: THE RETURN. This production was a collaboration between the United States and France, involving XRM Media, LinLay Productions, and The VII Foundation. Fiona Turner and Terri Lichstein served as producers, and Gary Knight appears as himself.
