The Shadow's Edge

The Shadow's Edge is a crime thriller set in Macau. After a group of professional thieves successfully outsmarts the city's advanced surveillance technology to steal a cryptocurrency key, the local police are unable to track them. To solve the case, authorities bring a retired tracking expert back into service. The veteran officer must lead a team of young investigators, including the daughter of his late partner, as he combines traditional surveillance methods with modern technology to stop the criminals.

Directed and written by Larry Yang, this is the second film he has directed following Ride On. The movie stars Jackie Chan, Zhang Zifeng, Tony Leung Ka-fai, Ci Sha, Jun, and Zhou Zhengjie. Produced by Victoria Hon, the production had a budget of 20 million USD and earned 181 million USD at the worldwide box office.

The film has been well received by viewers, holding a rating of 7.1/10 on IMDb from 9,600 votes and 8.3/10 on TMDB from 1,443 votes. These audience scores are higher than the film critics' rating, which stands at 6.5/10 based on 10 reviews.
