Werwulf

Upcoming and set in 13th-century England, this fantasy horror film follows a mute peasant who suffers from a curse that transforms him into a werewolf during every full moon. While the villagers are terrorized by a mysterious creature, the protagonist joins a group of wolf hunters to hide his true identity. He seeks a way to break the spell before his inner darkness destroys his soul and his family.

Written by Robert Eggers and Sjón, the movie is directed by Eggers. It follows his previous projects, The Witch, The Lighthouse, The Northman, and Nosferatu. The production is a collaboration between Focus Features, Working Title Films, and Maiden Voyage Pictures from the United Kingdom and the United States. The cast includes Kate Dickie, Tony McCarthy, Preslav Shipkaliev, Phoebe Weston, Ritchi Edwards, and John Heartstone.
