Suicide Notes Laid on the Table

A list ranking students and their teacher is introduced to Class 2-D at the start of a spring semester. Tsubaki Himeyama, a well-liked and successful student, holds the top position. Following her unexpected suicide, every member of the class receives a farewell letter from her, leading to the gradual collapse of the group.

This Japanese mystery thriller was directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa, who previously directed ten films, including Tokyo Revengers and Kakegurui: The Movie. The screenplay was written by Osamu Suzuki. The film features a cast of 24 credited actors, with lead roles played by Hokuto Yoshino, Ryubi Miyase, Sara Shida, Minato Matsui, Akari Takaishi, and Shugo Oshinari. Produced by Shochiku, SQUARE ENIX, DUB, and HI-AX, the movie has a runtime of 119 minutes.
