The Visitor

The Visitor is a drama about Danielius, a man in his mid-thirties who returns to his hometown at the end of summer to sell the apartment once owned by his parents. With no urgent commitments, he spends time rediscovering the local environment and reconnecting with people from his past. Through these interactions, he confronts a quiet sense of loneliness and a feeling that the town is no longer his own.

Directed by Vytautas Katkus, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Marija Kavtaradzė, the film is a production involving companies from Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden. The lead role of Danielius is played by Darius Šilėnas. The supporting cast includes Vismantė Ruzgaitė, Arvydas Dapšys, Nikolas Jaškūnas, Rokas Siaurusaitis, and Eglė Gabrėnaitė, among a total of 20 credited performers.
