Le Fantôme de l'Opéra

Anastasia Marescu, an eighteen-year-old dancer, joins the Opéra Garnier in Paris, where the artistic director James Figueras stages Orpheus, an opera said to have been written by the Phantom of the Opera. During rehearsals, strange accidents unsettle the company, and Anastasia falls in love with a mysterious pianist. As the premiere approaches, unexplained events and disturbing revelations leave her caught between an impossible love and a story that blurs the line between reality and legend.

The film is directed by Alexandre Castagnetti, who wrote the screenplay with Camille Fontaine. It is his sixth feature, following Love Is in the Air, Tamara, La Colle and Inès et Yvan, l'amour sur un fil. Deva Cassel plays Anastasia, with Julien de Saint Jean as Ernest Dupré, Romain Duris as James Figueras, and Dorothée Gilbert, Axel Auriant and Laïka Blanc-Francard in supporting roles. The production is French, mounted by SND and FullDawa Films, with 91 credited crew members.

The film is scheduled for release on October 28, 2026, and is not yet in cinemas.
