Elegy

This Brazilian drama focuses on a lonely lawyer in São Paulo who is killed by a vehicle outside the Consolação Cemetery. After his death, he finds himself unable to enter the cemetery grounds despite his attempts to do so.

The short film was directed by André Quevedo Pacheco, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Enzo Kruschewsky. Following his 2024 film Batuque, this 2025 production was created through Independente Filmes and the Escola de Comunicações e Artes at the Universidade de São Paulo. The cast features Dann Santos in the lead role, supported by Laura Lufési, Ari Willians, and Airton Renô. The film has a total runtime of 23 minutes.
