Ultimate Avengers 2

Ultimate Avengers 2 continues the story begun in the previous film, as an alien invasion reaches Earth and draws the team of heroes into a conflict far from home. The mysterious African kingdom of Wakanda and its ruler, T'Challa, the Black Panther, become central when his father is killed by the invaders' leader, an old enemy of Captain America. Seeking allies against a threat too great for his people alone, T'Challa turns to Captain America, who brings together Iron Man, Giant Man, Wasp and Black Widow to fight alongside him.

This animated Marvel feature was released directly to home viewing in 2006, running just over an hour. It is the second Ultimate Avengers film, following the earlier entry in the series, and was directed by Dick Sebast, Bob Richardson and Will Meugniot, with a screenplay by Greg Johnson and Bob Richardson producing. The voice cast includes Justin Gross as Captain America, Jeffrey D. Sams as T'Challa, Grey DeLisle as Wasp, Nolan North as Giant Man, Olivia d'Abo as Black Widow and Marc Worden as Iron Man.

For the directors, the film sits early in their filmographies: it followed Richardson's Ultimate Avengers: The Movie and preceded Sebast's Doctor Strange, while Meugniot had directed Spider-Man: The Venom Saga before it. Audiences have rated it moderately, with a 6.5 on IMDb from around 10,000 votes and a 6.8 on TMDB from a smaller pool of voters.
