Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk is a documentary about the friendship between Iranian director Sepideh Farsi and Fatem Hassouna, a young Palestinian photojournalist. The two women connect through a series of video calls over more than 200 days, during which they discuss politics, religion, and Hassouna's experiences documenting the conflict and living under bombardment in the Gaza Strip. The film was constructed from the digital fragments and sounds shared between them. The project took on new meaning following the death of Hassouna during an attack on her home in April 2025.
The film was directed, written, and produced by Sepideh Farsi in collaboration with Annie Ohayon-Dekel and Javad Djavaherry. A French production by 24images and Rêves d'Eau productions, the movie features Sepideh Farsi and Fatima Hassouna appearing as themselves. Released on August 22, 2025, the documentary has a runtime of 113 minutes. It has received a positive response from viewers, holding a rating of 7.4/10 on TMDB based on 30 votes.
