Everybody to Kenmure Street is a documentary about a spontaneous movement of civil resistance in Pollokshields, a diverse area of Scotland. The film depicts events from May 2021, when local residents rushed into the streets to prevent the UK Home Office from deporting their neighbors during a dawn raid. This grassroots response saw hundreds of people abandon their daily routines to gather and protect members of their community.
Directed by Felipe Bustos Sierra, who also served as a producer alongside Ciara Barry, the film was produced by Screen Scotland, Barry Crerar, and Al Jazeera English. The production features a cast that includes Emma Thompson as Van Guy and Kate Dickie as Nurse. Released on March 13, 2026, the United Kingdom production has a runtime of 98 minutes.
