Southern Nightmare

Southern Nightmare is a horror thriller about two female friends traveling through the American Deep South. During their road trip, they are captured by unstable locals living in the wilderness. The story focuses on their struggle to survive in a violent setting designed as a tribute to 1970s grindhouse cinema.

Written and directed by Charlie Steeds, the film was produced by Steeds and Faith McCoy through Destructo International Pictures. It follows several previous projects by Steeds, including Lord of Wolves and He Sees You When You're Sleeping, and precedes his 2025 and 2026 releases. The cast features Faith McCoy as Sherri and Madison Pankey as Anna Beth, with supporting roles played by Scot Scurlock, Gloria Lynne Henry, Chad N Wilson, and Travis Cutner.
