Through Your Eyes

Through Your Eyes is a Canadian documentary that explores the identity and origins of a woman named Fabiola. The film centers on Fabiola reflecting on the potential paths her life could have taken had she remained in Haiti. Due to her biological mother's financial instability, she was placed in the care of another person. The narrative examines various alternative futures, ranging from being adopted internationally or living with a supportive foster family to facing homelessness or becoming a restavek.

The film was directed by Brigitte Poupart, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Fabiola Pierre Monty and appears on screen as herself. This project follows Poupart's 2025 film, Where Souls Go. Produced by EMAfilms and Anne-Marie Gélinas, the documentary features Fabiola Pierre Monty in a primary role. The movie has a runtime of 91 minutes and was released on February 6, 2026.
