Call of The Dead

A woman named Alya returns to her mother's village home after her daughter dies in a tragic accident. After burying the child in the backyard, Alya discovers that the land is cursed, leading to her daughter returning from the dead as a changed being.

This Indonesian drama and horror film was directed by Dyan Sunu Prastowo, who also directed If You Were Here Again earlier in 2025. The screenplay was written by Baskoro Adi Wuryanto and produced by Arvin Sutedja, Yoen K, and Andreas Sullivan. The cast features Nirina Zubir in the lead role as Alya, appearing alongside Nugie, Firzanah Alya, Mutia Datau, Septian Dwi Cahyo, and Dea Lestari. The movie has a runtime of 88 minutes and was released on August 14, 2025.
