Call Me Mother

Call Me Mother is a comedy-drama from the Philippines about Twinkle, a single queer mother. Her efforts to legally adopt her son are complicated when the boy's biological mother, Mara, suddenly returns to their lives.

The film was directed by Jun Robles Lana, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Daisy G. Cayanan and Daniel Saniana. This project follows his earlier works such as Tarot, Bwakaw, and his 2023 titles Becky and Badette, Your Mother's Son, and About Us But Not About Us. It precedes his subsequent 2025 and 2026 productions, including And the Breadwinner Is..., Sisa, and The Greatest Showdown. The movie stars Vice Ganda as Twinkle and Nadine Lustre as Mara, with Lucas Andalio playing Angelo. The supporting cast includes Chanda Romero, Carmi Martin, and Ces Quesada, with a total of 42 credited actors and 105 credited crew members.
