Everyone's Hero

Set in New York during the early 1930s, this animated adventure follows a young boy named Yankee Irving. After the baseball bat of superstar Babe Ruth is stolen, Yankee and a talking baseball travel from New York to Chicago to recover the equipment. Their goal is to return the bat before the final game of the 1932 World Series ends, allowing their favorite team to secure a victory.

The film was co-directed by Christopher Reeve, Colin Brady, and Dan St. Pierre. For Colin Brady and Dan St. Pierre, this was followed by Legends of Oz: Dorothy's Return in 2014. The voice cast includes Jake T. Austin as the protagonist, alongside Rob Reiner, William H. Macy, Mandy Patinkin, Richard Kind, and Robert Wagner.

Produced by 20th Century Fox and other companies, the movie had a budget of 35 million USD but earned 17 million USD at the worldwide box office.
