How to Divorce During the War

Set in Vilnius in 2022, this drama follows a successful executive named Marija who informs her husband, Vytas, that she wants a divorce. Their attempt to separate begins just as Russia launches a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. As the couple navigates their bitter split and personal mid-life crises, their domestic struggle unfolds against the backdrop of a regional refugee emergency and the general tension of the conflict.

The film was directed and written by Andrius Blaževičius and produced by Marija Razgutė. It is a co-production between Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and the Czech Republic, involving production companies such as Red Lion, M-Films, Feline Films, and Bionaut.
