Diego and Alba travel to Lanzarote in an attempt to repair their failing marriage. Their relationship is defined by constant conflict, a lack of sexual attraction, and mutual infidelity, with both partners indifferent to the pain they cause each other. While Alba remains emotionally closed off, she is unaware that her own behavior contributes to their instability. During their trip, they stay at a guest house run by Irene and Ben, a betrothed couple whose own happiness is strained by the arrival of their guests. The truth regarding both couples is revealed through a series of questions from a gossip magazine.

This Spanish drama was directed by Horacio Alcalá and is the first of two films he has directed, followed by Sobre las olas in 2026. The screenplay was written by Frank Ariza, who also served as a producer alongside Manuel Vega. The film features Asia Ortega as Alba, Manuel Vega as Diego, Emma Suárez as Irene, and José Luis García Pérez as Ben, with Jonathan Guttmann appearing as Operario Noria.
