The Talented Mr. F

Two cinema students from Berlin spend three years creating an animated short film called Butty to launch their professional careers. Their plans are derailed when a festival disqualifies the work, leading the creators to discover that their film is already available online. The project is being credited to an American filmmaker known as Mr. F, a man praised as a modern equivalent to Walt Disney. The students investigate how this individual built a successful reputation based on their stolen work and a series of falsehoods.
