In a small northern town, the discovery of a young girl's body by a river sparks a brutal murder investigation. Criminalist Laura Linhartová and her former colleague Adam Beneš are tasked with solving the crime. While a convicted criminal with a history of similar violence initially appears to be the primary suspect, the emergence of new evidence forces the investigators to restart their search.
