A bachelor party in the Caribbean goes wrong when the friends celebrating on a yacht come across an island that is not as deserted as it appears. A secret medical research facility is operating there, and something has contaminated the water around it. The sickness soon follows the group back on board, and the men find themselves fighting to stay alive as it spreads among them. A doctor whose motives remain unclear may hold the key to their survival.
Kaare Andrews directed the film, his third feature after Altitude and his segment in the anthology The ABCs of Death, and it arrived before Sniper: Assassin's End. Jake Wade Wall wrote the screenplay, with Evan Astrowsky and Jaime Pina producing for Voltage Pictures, Hypotenuse Films, Indomina Productions and Film002. The cast is led by Mitch Ryan, Jillian Murray, Lydia Hearst, Claudette Lalí and Sean Astin, supported by Solly Duran and a crew of 59.
Released in 2014, the film runs 91 minutes and belongs to the horror genre, made in the United States. On TMDB it holds a rating of 5 out of 10 based on 365 votes, a middling score from a relatively modest number of viewers.
