Short description

Raise Her Up: Celebrating a Century of Votes is a Canadian documentary focused on the creation of a monument for Armine Gosling. The film follows an artist who is also an advocate and historian as she works on the statue to commemorate the centennial of women gaining the right to vote in Newfoundland.

The film was co-directed by Michelle Clemens and Bridget A. Ricketts. For both directors, this project followed their previous collaboration on the 2023 film Pulling Strings. The production was handled by PrinciPALs Productions and features Sheila Coultas, Jenn Doen, and Margot I. Duley appearing as themselves. The historical short has a runtime of 23 minutes.
