Dragon Tiger Gate

Tiger and Dragon Wong are half-brothers raised apart. Tiger grew up inside the Dragon Tiger Gate school, founded to teach kung fu and protect ordinary people from criminal gangs, while Dragon was taken in by Ma Kun, the head of a triad, and became his bodyguard. After years on opposite sides, the brothers cross paths again when Tiger unknowingly comes into possession of a valuable golden plaque belonging to the underworld. A young fighter named Turbo Shek joins them, and the three face a criminal organisation whose leader, Shibumi, pursues his own plans against them.

Wilson Yip directed the film, working from a screenplay by Edmond Wong. It followed The White Dragon and SPL: Kill Zone in Yip's filmography and came before Flash Point and the Ip Man series. Nicholas Tse plays Tiger, Donnie Yen plays Dragon, Shawn Yue plays Turbo Shek, and Dong Jie, Chen Kuan-Tai and Yu Kang appear alongside them among a credited cast of 21. The production was a Hong Kong and Chinese co-production, and it took about 9 million dollars worldwide.

Audience reception was moderate. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.1 out of 10 from more than seven thousand votes, while on TMDB its rating is 6.7 out of 10 from a much smaller number of votes.
