Notre Enfance is a short documentary set in the northern districts of Marseille, where roughly twenty young musicians gather over a two-week period to train together and rehearse three jazz pieces. The film observes their daily work as the group prepares the music, focusing on the shared effort of the rehearsals rather than on any single performer.
The film runs twenty minutes and was released in April 2026. It was directed by Adrien Caulier, who made My dad never told me I love you in 2024; Notre Enfance came next in his filmography, ahead of Portrait of a 21 Year Old Woman, also from 2026. Coline Siméone appears as herself. It is a French production from Transversarts.
