Straight Line

A peculiar man sets out to cross New York City while keeping to a perfectly straight path, and along the way he forms connections he did not expect. The short comedy with fantasy elements follows Ian as he tries to hold to his self-imposed rule through a city that does not cooperate with straight lines. The tension comes from the clash between his rigid approach and the unpredictable encounters the journey produces.

Jack Bensinger directed and wrote the twelve-minute film, with Harris Mayersohn producing, and Bensinger also plays the lead role of Ian. It was released in December 2025.
