Gaslit

Gaslit is a documentary that follows Jane Fonda as she travels through Louisiana and Texas. The film focuses on the impact of the oil and gas extraction boom, which has established the United States as the primary global exporter of liquefied natural gas. This industrial growth has also led to an increase in petrochemicals and plastics production. Along the way, Fonda meets a diverse group of people, including former oil employees, ranchers, shrimpers, and religious community members, who have joined together to protect their coastlines and local environments from these industries.
