Stallion and a Crystal Ball

A secluded teenager uses a spell to satisfy a deep longing while alone in his room. As he does so, aggressive visions begin to distort his perception of reality, creating a fragile state that eventually reaches a breaking point. This Spanish production blends elements of drama, fantasy, and mystery to explore the character's internal struggle.

The film was written and directed by Christian Avilés, marking the second project in his directing career following Daydreaming So Vividly About Our Spanish Holidays in 2022. Produced by Escándalo Films and Archivo Guardián, the project involved producers Paula Amat, Manuel G. Romero, and Avilés himself. The short film has a runtime of 19 minutes and was released on February 14, 2026.
