Short description

The Joker is back with a vengeance, and Neo-Gotham's Dark Knight, Terry McGinnis, needs answers as he stands alone to face the old Gotham's most infamous Clown Prince of Crime.

What's left behind the scenes

The original version of the film differed from the released version with a much greater number of violent scenes. One of the cut scenes, in particular, was an episode in which young Robin – Tim Drake – kills someone with a speargun. In light of the Columbine High School massacre on April 20, 1999, many dialogues and scenes of violence were altered or cut, resulting in the film being given a PG rating (parents are advised to watch the film with children). The initial PG-13 version (not recommended for children under 13) was later released on DVD.
