The Last Assassins

Set in a violent dystopian future gripped by a permanent winter and lethal fog, the story follows a young warrior called The Kid. After the murder of her father, she travels with a guardian named Nobel to find an aunt she has never met. Nobel is bound by a promise to keep the remaining members of her family safe. Their quest leads them to a deserted laboratory where holographic records uncover family secrets. As the divide between physical and digital realities fades, the young woman may be essential to the future of their world.
