Short description

This documentary examines a violent incident in Kathmandu on September 8, 2025, when police killed 19 young protesters. The film explores the circumstances that caused a peaceful Gen Z demonstration to end in tragedy and seeks to identify who authorized the use of lethal force.

The project was produced by the BBC and co-directed by Antoine Schirer and Subina Shrestha, who also served as a producer. This is the second film directed by Shrestha, following her 2024 work Devi. The film has a total runtime of 41 minutes.
