Arctic Heroes

During excavations on Wrangel Island, a living baby mammoth is discovered, sleeping in a man-made cryogenic sarcophagus. The obsessed scientist leading the expedition decides to keep the discovery secret from the public and pass it off as the result of his cloning work. The baby mammoth is to be dissected to obtain material for cloning and research. Young schoolchildren come to the aid of the baby mammoth, accidentally discovering that it is intelligent. They help the baby mammoth escape and return to Wrangel Island to uncover the mystery of its origin.
