Jerry West: The Logo

This documentary examines the life and professional career of Jerry West, a former Los Angeles Lakers player regarded as one of the most influential figures in NBA history. While acknowledging his role in building sports dynasties and becoming the silhouette for the league's logo, the film focuses on the personal struggles behind his public success. Through interviews with family members and basketball icons, the narrative explores West's internal battle with loneliness, the pressures of perfectionism, and the toll his achievements took on his marriage and private relationships.

The film was directed by Kenya Barris, following his 2023 project You People. It was produced by Amazon Studios, Khalabo Ink Society, Propagate Content, and Prime Video Sports. The documentary features appearances by basketball stars including Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant, alongside archive footage of Jerry West and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In total, 34 cast members are credited in the 121-minute production.
