Fucking Different Generations is a German documentary anthology that examines queer identity, intimacy, and sexuality across different age groups. Through a series of short segments, the film portrays encounters between younger and older men to analyze how perspectives on desire and relationships have evolved over time. By contrasting the experiences of those who lived through eras of repression with those in more open social climates, the project explores the connections and gaps between generations while highlighting a shared human need for recognition and closeness.
The film was produced by Kristian Petersen and directed by a collaborative team including Petersen, Sofía Alvarado, Emre Busse, Monika Treut, Jiz Lee, Shine Louise Houston, Jo Pollux, Teo Parker, and Todd Verow. For some of the directors, this project follows previous works; for instance, Todd Verow previously directed eight films, including Fetal and You Can't Stay Here. Monika Treut's contributions to this anthology follow three other films, including Cooking Up Democracy. This production also follows Meet The Camera in the career of Shine Louise Houston and The Man Who Perceives All for Emre Busse. Released on April 21, 2026, the film has a total runtime of 86 minutes.
