Blood Mist

Blood Mist is a crime thriller centered on Modesto, a fugitive convict in a state of desperation. While involved in a hostage situation, he struggles to control his violent impulses and attempts to persuade his wife against ending their marriage.

Directed by Darwin Reina, this short film follows his previous project, A Hell of a Trip to Delicias. The screenplay was written by Reina alongside Lee Bailes and Scott Simpson, and the film was produced by Reina, Stephanie Hoffman, and Rubi Rios. The cast features Dana Dilan as Modesto, Julia Helbich as Eva, and Lucas Morera Llonch as the younger version of the protagonist. Supporting roles are played by Karime Moreno Velasquez, Francisco Javier Palomares, and Oliver F. Domínguez.
