Heartlift

A successful plastic surgeon travels to a medical conference where he enters into a passionate relationship with a young assistant. This encounter leads him to seek ways to extend their time together, creating a conflict between his desire for this new romance and his established family life in Spain. Meanwhile, his wife begins seeing a psychiatrist to address the growing instability and changes within their marriage, eventually leading the surgeon to make a difficult choice between the two women.

The film was directed by Eliseo Subiela, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Alicia Rosendorn.
