Ruins

This documentary follows a filmmaker who works to restore a monument created by her father. Through this process, she examines the role of art as a means of preserving memory and navigating the experience of mourning.

The film was directed and written by Elena Čemerska, who also appears as herself on screen. The cast includes Rajna Čemerska, Katarina Radjenovikj, Mihail Trifunov, Gligor Čemerski, and Filip Čemerski. Produced by a collaboration of companies from Macedonia, Slovenia, and Croatia, including RTV Slovenija, Cinema Futura, Restart, and Minimal Collective, the movie has a runtime of 78 minutes. It was released on June 14, 2026.
